Can someone guide me in performing multivariate outlier detection?

Can someone guide me in performing multivariate outlier detection? I wrote a post about multivariate outliers detection in C++ which would be helpful! Can anybody help me to do outlier detection in C++? My main problem with C++ is in my particular case the data is huge so I have to try and make some sort of multi-index manipulation to calculate many outlier measures and adjust for different indexes/moves.
